Beaudie is discovering the benefit of Gillian moving to table food -- she shares with him. Although, it's not usually intentional. Usually it happens when she starts babbling and randomly throws pieces of chicken or cracker on the floor. In this case, the smell of the roast chicken drove him to try and climb onto the highchair with her for a little snack, much to her amusement.
