Fall fun

Gillian met her cousins and Grammy and Gramps at Baugher's orchard to pick out her pumpkin for Halloween. She also enjoyed seeing cows, goats, a donkey and a pony up close for the first time, and getting a push from Mia on the swings.

Remember me?

In case you've all forgotten what Gillian looks like, here are some photos from this weekend after a bad bang trim from mom.

Girl's best friend

Beaudie is discovering the benefit of Gillian moving to table food -- she shares with him. Although, it's not usually intentional. Usually it happens when she starts babbling and randomly throws pieces of chicken or cracker on the floor. In this case, the smell of the roast chicken drove him to try and climb onto the highchair with her for a little snack, much to her amusement.

Caught on film

Gillian's first two teeth finally came through on Thanksgiving, but she had refused to let them be captured on film and only allowed herself to smile with her mouth firmly closed while a camera was around. But I was finally able to catch her in mid-babble in her crib last week, and if you look closely, you can see just see the two teeth.

Santa baby

Grammy and Gramps signed Gillian up for her first visit with Santa and breakfast at the Elks Club, where she impressed the crowd by being one of the only babies NOT to burst into tears when placed on Santa's lap.

All you need is love

This tee trumps her "Daddy said I can" shirt as Bob's favorite.

Better late than never

I know, I know our updates are long overdue. So here are the photos from baby girl's first Halloween (she wore the orange and black outfit to daycare, and then changed into her flower costume for the school "parade." I only dressed her up to take to our next door neighbor's house, because at 7 months and with no teeth, to take her around the neighborhood really would have just been collecting candy for Bob and I. Not that that didn't stop some other parents from bringing their toothless children to our door!
